Caltech's Energy Transition
John Onderdonk,
Interim Associate Vice President for Facilities,
California Institute of Technology,
In the past decade, Caltech has made significant progress toward reducing carbon emissions and upgrading its electric and thermal utilities, but it is apparent that efficiency and optimization will only yield marginal returns. Caltech has the opportunity to de-carbonize, electrify and modernize its utility systems to better support research into the future. Come hear what the Facilities Department is doing toward that end and how the campus can partner to realize that vision.
