Philosophy on Student Support
Our approach to student support is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when they are seen, heard, and valued for their whole selves—not just their academic performance.
Student success is more than reaching a destination. It's about the journey toward becoming a whole and fulfilled individual. When students are supported in their academic, personal, and wellness needs, they are positioned to pursue their passions, advance their research, and make transformative contributions to science and engineering.
Meet the Director

As Director of EAS Programs for Student Success, I view my role as both an advocate and a connector. I am committed to ensuring students have access to the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive in all aspects of life. My approach centers on building genuine relationships with students and creating an environment where they feel seen, heard, and supported.
Collaboration is key to this work. I partner closely with campus resources, faculty, and staff to ensure every student has a clear path to realizing their full potential—whether that means navigating academic challenges, exploring new opportunities, or finding a sense of belonging in their field. My greatest motivation is seeing students not only achieve their goals but also grow as leaders, deepen their self-awareness, and expand their vision for the future.
I have dedicated my career to supporting students through the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduation stages. My research focuses on effective mentoring models in engineering doctoral programs. Beyond my professional role, I am an avid podcast listener and an entomology aficionado, fascinated by the complexity and resilience of insects.
