Anima Anandkumar Elected AAAI Fellow

Anima Anandkumar, Bren Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, has been elected as a fellow to the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), a premier scientific society in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). AAAI Fellows are "individuals who have made significant, sustained contributions — usually over at least a ten-year period — to the field of artificial intelligence." Anandkumar is elected for her "significant contributions to machine learning including neural operators for scientific machine learning and tensor methods for probabilistic models."
