Katherine Faber Receives the W. David Kingery Award from the American Ceramic Society

Katherine T. Faber, Simon Ramo Professor of Materials Science, has received the 2024 W. David Kingery Award from the American Ceramic Society. Since 1998, this award is presented to one recipient in recognition of "distinguished lifelong achievements involving multidisciplinary and global contributions to ceramic technology, science, education and art."

Professor Faber has previously served as President of the American Ceramic Society and she was named a Distinguished Life Member for her contributions to the ceramic and glass profession. In 2014, she was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences for her contributions to science and engineering.
