P.P. Vaidyanathan, the Kiyo and Eiko Tomiyasu Professor of Electrical Engineering, has been named the recipient of the 2024 IEEE Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal “for contributions to multirate digital filter banks and sparse array signal processing.”
The Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal is one of IEEE’s most prestigious honors and is awarded annually to an individual or team for outstanding achievements in signal processing. Vaidyanathan, along with other 2024 IEEE medal recipients, will be honored at the 2024 IEEE Honors Ceremony in Boston.
