2024 Graduate Student Faculty Colloquium
What?
The Graduate Student-Faculty Colloquium (SFC) is a biannual, day-long conference designed to facilitate dialogue between graduate students and faculty regarding the graduate student experience at Caltech and to address the present concerns of the campus community as a whole.
Programming includes panels on student-advisor relationships, finishing your PhD, and teaching quality and Caltech. At the end of the day, there will also be a town hall session tentatively titled "Get Tea and Spill the Tea" only open to students, to openly discuss concerns about academic issues.
When?
The 2024 SFC will take place on Monday, June 17th, 2024, from 10 am to 2:30 pm. Lunch will be served!
Where?
The 2024 SFC will take place at Hameetman Multi-Purpose Room, which is just above Red Door.
Who?
This event is open to all graduate students and faculty! We encourage all graduate students and faculty members to attend and contribute to these important conversations.
